Pat McAfee has officially kicked off a very different chapter of his career.

The former WWE commentator has spent years as an NFL punter, sports broadcaster, podcaster and wrestling personality. Now, he’s adding something completely new to that list.

McAfee took to Twitter on Friday morning to announce that the 14-track album was now available on Spotify and YouTube, kicking things off by declaring it the greatest “Feel Good Friday” of all time.

“Good morning beautiful people.. Let’s have the greatest Feel Good Friday of all time. The Diary Of A Polarizing Figure is AVAILABLE NOW on @Spotify and @YouTube.”

This wasn’t some last-minute celebrity side project either.

Pat McAfee first announced the album in July.

He revealed he’d been writing many of the songs for nearly 20 years, using them to process the hate and narratives that have followed him throughout his career.

McAfee also didn’t hold back when it came to the size of the project. Instead of releasing a handful of songs, The Diary of a Polarizing Figure features 14 tracks:

Pitbull And A Mugshot, OOPS, Polarizing Figure, Young Me, Blue Collar Symphony, Good Times, Cheers To The South, Outlaws, No One Ever Knows, Big Rain Coming, Smokin, Rich As S***, Click Clack and You’re Alive.

The release also comes just months after McAfee announced he was stepping away from professional wrestling following WrestleMania 42.

At the time, McAfee said he felt he’d accomplished everything he wanted to do in WWE after working as a wrestler, commentator, referee and manager.

Whether The Diary of a Polarizing Figure ends up being a one-off project or the start of a music career remains to be seen, but after keeping these songs to himself for nearly two decades, McAfee has finally put them out into the world.
