Adam Pearce opens door to wrestling return

Don’t be surprised to see Adam Pearce wrestle again one day.

Nick Aldis is not really the only WWE General Manager fans want to see back in the ring.

After Aldis recently laced up his boots again, the same question quickly found its way to RAW General Manager Adam Pearce: would he ever consider another match of his own?

Adam Pearce doesn’t sound too eager.

While speaking with Love Wrestling, the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion laughed off the idea, joking that nobody wants to see him wrestling in tights at 48 years old.

“Less than zero interest… You at home do not need to see a 48-year-old, bald Caucasian Adam Pearce wearing tights in 2026 or beyond.”

Adam Pearce made it clear he is perfectly happy focusing on his role as RAW General Manager rather than climbing back into the ring full time.

Even then, he stopped short of completely shutting the door on returning to the squared circle one day.

Despite insisting he has no real desire to wrestle again, Pearce finished his answer with one important caveat.

“We’re gonna say no. But we will not ever say never.”

That’s enough to leave at least a little room for speculation.

Pearce has wrestled in WWE before, stepping back into the ring for two matches in 2021, but he’s spent the last several years becoming one of the company’s most well-known on-screen authority figures.

Now, with Nick Aldis proving that a WWE General Manager can still compete when the story calls for it, fans have naturally started wondering if Pearce could eventually do the same.

For the moment, though, don’t expect him to start shopping for new ring gear.
